OVERVIEW
Bernard Poulin has been painting portraits internationally since 1978 and exhibiting his work since 1967. His subjects have included royalty, the clergy, the judiciary as well as academic, corporate and political figures. His work graces the walls of private, corporate and institutional collections throughout North America, Bermuda and Europe. Poulin is represented by agents in Paris, Bermuda, Kelowna, BC and Ottawa.
Over and above his international success as a portraitist, Poulin sculpts in bronze and has created several three-dimensional mixed-media murals. Under the auspices of his "Patron Exhibitions" program, the artist has been commissioned to travel to and paint
his impressions of Tuscany, Venice, Provence, Jerusalem and Paris and Bermuda. A sought after lecturer, the artist presents workshops and conferences throughout the United States, Bermuda and Canada. His television programs for the Educational Television Network of Ontario (TVO) have been translated and distributed internationally. Bernard Poulin is the author of seven books, the last five published by North Light Books of Cincinnati, Ohio. ??His "The Complete Colored Pencil Book" (1992) has sold more than
75,000 copies. It was translated in Paris, France in 1995. And in the Spring of 2002, this same book was re-issued in soft-cover.
